TRAINING
IBS consultants and therapists provide training and behavioral consultation to address each area of need for children with Autism and related disabilities, including language, social skills, academic skills, self-help skills, classroom performance (i.e., routines, acquiring skills in a group), and behavioral excesses. In order for training to be effective, we believe that ongoing behavioral feedback and coaching are necessary. IBS offers a variety of training opportunities for parents, teachers, and therapists, including the following:
- Classroom workshops
- Video-based training
- Role-playing and multimedia exercises
- Live and video modeling & examples
- In-vivo training with children with Autism
- Small group and 1:1 coaching sessions
- Ongoing professional development, training, and continuing education
